One Month with the IPad (11th Gen) My Honest Review

It has been a month since I started using the iPad A16 (11th Gen). I use it daily for everything from entertainment to creativity and productivity. I feel ready to share my experience.

Here is my Unboxing Video on TikTok

Spoiler Alert: It is impressive – but not without a few limitations

Streaming & Media Consumption

For entertainment, it is a beast. I have been watching Netflix, YouTube, and even live-stream events, and the screen is sharp, bright and vivid. Colours look great, and the sound from the built-in speakers is surprisingly rich for such a slim device.
Whether I am lounge at home or watching on the go, the experience is smooth and immersive.

Digital Art

As someone who enjoys drawing, I have been using the iPad with the Apple Pencil regularly. Apps like procreate run without lag, and overall drawing experience is very natural. The pressure sensitivity is precise, the touch response is fluid, and palm rejection works well.
It does not have the power of the iPad Pro/Air lineup. Still, it is more than capable for casual to semi-serious digital art.

Productivity & Daily Use

The iPad A16 (11th Gen) works great for everyday tasks. Reading, note-taking, and web browsing all feel fast and fluid. Replying to emails and calendar planning are also seamless experiences. Apple’s improvement to multitasking (like stage Manager and split-screen) make it feel more versatile than ever.
Add a Bluetooth Keyboard. Use it with Apple’s smart accessories, or opt for cheaper alternatives. It easily becomes a light productivity machine.

Battery Life

Battery life has been reliable. I average a full day and a half on a single charge with mixed use. This includes watching videos, drawing, browsing, and using productivity apps. Even under heavier use, it gets through the day without anxiety.

Performance

The iPad A16 (11TH Gen) is powered by a chip in the A-Series. It performs very well in daily tasks. It is not in the same league as the M-Series chips used in the iPad Pro. Still, it is snappy, efficient, and more than capable for most users. No lag, no slowdowns, even when using multiple apps or doing light creative works.

My Final Thoughts: I have used the iPad 16 (11th Gen) consistently for a month. I can say it is a fantastic mid-tier tablet in 2025. It is not trying to be a laptop replacement or a power – user machine. Yet, for content consumption, digital art, productivity, and everyday use, it does the job exceptionally well.

This is a great choice if you want a reliable and well-balanced iPad. It does not come with a Pro-Level price tag.
