Embarking on the journey is about to begin! The arrival of a little bundle of Joy is a joyous and exciting time, and preparing for their arrival is an adventure all its own. From creating a cosy nursery to stocking up on adorable baby clothes, there are countless ways to prepare for your new-born’s arrival.

Preparing for a new born is an exciting and important task. Here is my own checklist to help you get ready for the arrival of your baby.

Prenatal Care

  • Attend regular prenatal check-up with your healthcare provider.
  • Discuss your birth plan and any concerns with your doctor.

Baby Gear

  • Crib or bassinet with a firm mattress and fitted sheets.
  • Car seat for safe transportation.
  • Nappies (Diapers for American readers).
  • Baby Wipes.
  • Baby Clothes (Onesies, Sleepers, socks, hats)

  • Infant toiletries (Gentle soap, shampoo, and lotion)
